FIRST ON-SITE PROJECT MEETING DURING EUSA CONVENTION

Partners of the Uni4S project met for the first time in person to discuss the project and work on the before-established topics. Meeting additionally took part during EUSA Convention – an event preparing for European Universities Games in Lodz, Poland in 2022.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, meetings planned for the first part of the 2021 could not be organized. At last, partners met in Lodz, Poland, to follow the plan established during online meetings. For the additional value, the meeting took place in Lodz, Poland where the EUSA Convention before European Universities Games (EUG) in Lodz in 2022 has been organized.

On September 24 partners took part in the Convention – it has been a chance to listen to the organizers of previous editions of EUG and the specfics of organizing an event of this scale. Additionally, topics like project management or registration system has also been introducted.

On September 25 partners met for internal project meeting. Two fundamental topics has been discussed – organization of international University sport events and volunteering. As those aspects are an important part of work for all partners, it has been a chance to exchnage the practices from each country. It has also been a chance to discuss the project in person and plan next steps.

Additionally, members of partner organization took part in #BeActive sport activities planned during EUSA Convention. The sport sessions involved morning run as well as sport climbing opportunities at one of the Lodz’s main sport centers – Zatoka Sportu, which is also going to be a center of EUG next year.
