Project meeting during Dutch Finals

In June 2022, partners had a chance to meet and further discuss the project during a meeting in the Netherlands – what’s important, it took place during National University Championship in the Netherlands, providing additional learning opportunities.

On the 10th and 11th of June, Uni4s project partners gathered for a meeting in Delft and The Hague, Netherlands. The meeting was hosted by project partner Student Sport Netherlands on the occasion of the biggest annual multi-sport event for students (GNSK) which took place in Delft and The Hague. The main goal of the meeting was to facilitate and share methods to create and improve sport events, in order to write a handbook.

On Friday and Saturday, partners from AZS, AZS Warszawa and EUSA had the chance to visit the sport facilities of Delft and The Hague, as well as the new complex Sportcampus Zuiderpark. During the meeting in The Hague on Saturday, project partners had the opportunity to share their ideas regarding logistics in the organization of university sport tournaments, to plan and write a complete notebook. Topics such as technical details, communication for participants and organizers, as well as  challenges and positive aspects of a sport event were part of the discussion. For the first time of its edition, GNSK was held in two cities. Of 14 sports in total, 6 took place in Delft and 8 in the 2022 European capital of sport : The Hague.

Next meeting is planned for July 2022 – during European Universities Games in Łódź, Poland.
