UNI4S meeting in Ljubljana

On 27 April, the EUSA Institute hosted partners of the (Uni)ted forces to support the education of (Uni)versity sport comm(Uni)ty (Uni4S), who met for a live transnational meeting in Ljubljana. The United forces to support the education of university sport community (UNI4S) project aims to create educational opportunities for staff working in university sport associations.

As it is disccussed to extend the project to June 2023 to allow a greater collection of feedback and data during sports competitions, the schedule and planning of activities has been discussed. Indeed, the project uses sports events to gather impressions and needs directly from volunteers and organisers.

The meeting then continued with a brainstorming on the possible themes to add in the final Handbook. At the end of the project, this Handbook will be a tool to give useful information to educate staff of the university sport associations.

The next meeting will be held in the Netherlands in June at the occasion of the 2022 Den Haag & Delft Student Championships, the biggest annual multi-sport event for students of Dutch universities.

The project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, is co-ordinated by University Sports Association of Poland (POL) alongside project partners University Sports Association of Warsaw (POL), Student Sports Netherlands (NED) and the EUSA Institute (SLO).
