Uni4S Presentation at the Leaders Academy in Poland

Between 20 and 23 of April, student leaders from all over Poland gathered in Wilkasy to take part in AZS’s Leaders Academy. One of the sessions has been dedicated to the topic of volunteering and enagagement in European projects.

Over 100 persons took part in the Academy, coming from over 40 different Higher Education Institutions in Poland. AZS’s Leaders Academy is taking part from over 20 years – after 2 years of online sessions, young leaders could meet once again in person. Academy took place in AZS’s sport center at the beautiful location of Masurian lakes.

4 days long programme has been full of opportunities to learn, integrate and experience new things. Four main sessions has beed decidated to the topic of organising sport events, functioning of the university sport club, University Sport Association of Poland and the european projects – mobility as well as Erasmus+ Sport.

But much more has been offered to leaders – sport sessions, integrative concert and sessions on sport of people with disabilities. It has been also a chance to gather opinions on how AZS should function and what they would change – making it an opportunity to have a say in making a Strategy of AZS.
